Program Details
Turn your curiosity into understanding through well-rounded coursework in biology and related sciences. Through laboratory experiences, fieldwork, research opportunities, and interdisciplinary learning, students gain the knowledge and skills needed for careers in science, healthcare, education, and environmental fields.
Cell Biology
Examine the structure and function of cells while exploring the molecular processes that sustain life. Through lectures and laboratory experiences, students develop a deeper understanding of the fundamental building blocks of living organisms.
Genetics

Biology students gain hands-on experience through laboratory research, local field trips, internships, and international study opportunities. Students can work with organizations such as the Max Planck Institute for Neuroscience, Scripps Research Institute, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, and Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management.
A year-long Senior Research Project allows students to design, conduct, and analyze original scientific research while developing skills essential for graduate school and scientific careers.
