HCA Summit
On February 2, health care leaders and academic visionaries gathered for a pivotal event titled “Planning for the Next Generation of Nurses.” This summit represented a strategic collaboration between HCA hospital system executives and nursing education academic partners and sought to further bridge the gap between the classroom and the clinical arena.
The event aimed to strengthen nursing partnerships across the region by aligning academic curricula with real-world hospital needs. Community partners and HCA leaders met with leaders in academia to discuss expectations for new nurses and how to best prepare students for real-world experiences.
Through partnerships and events like this, we are ensuring that our future nursing workforce is not only well-prepared but empowered to provide exceptional patient care from day one.
